Best of Web 2.0 in Education - Graspr

Graspr is a how to video website. This website allows individuals to upload and share instructional videos related to a wide range of topics. The videos can then be shared across a number of different networking sites. The topics range from education, cooking, fitness, arts & crafts, family relationships, etc.

The videos I found under the education section were further divided out but subject area. The math videos I found are some of the same videos I have seen on Youtube or edutube sites. The videos vary in quality but some are quite useful for my students.

A concern I have is that this site does allow some subject areas that would be inappropriate for school age children. In particular the relationship section talk about adult themes in relationships that should not be available to students through a teacher recommended connection.

So without more oversight I could not see me using this site. I do see tremendous power in providing short instructional videos for students on the web for math topics they may have forgotten or need more instruction on.
